At My Pet Porter, we specialize in smooth, paws-itively luxurious transportation for pets of all shapes, sizes, and species - from Great Danes to feisty felines, birds, and even the occasional bearded dragon.


Where do you provide services?

My Pet Porter services the Metro Detroit area, including Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Macomb Counties.


How can I track my pet while in your care?

Does my pet have to ride in a kennel?

For the safety of your pet(s) and our driver, all pets are transported in spacious and secure kennels (one pet to a kennel). You're welcome to supply your own kennel / carrier that your pet is already acclimated to, or My Pet Porter can supply one for you.

What if there’s an emergency with my pet that requires medical attention while in your care?

No. We safely transport pets, but not their people. Our vans are customized for your pet’s safety and comfort. This means that you are not able to go along for the ride, but this is actually what many pet parents love the most about us! You can save hours of time knowing your pet is in the best hands when one of our experienced and insured pet chaperones accompanies your pet to and from their important appointments. We stay in direct communication with you for the entire length of service, and carefully relay any notes or instructions between you and your pet's boarder, groomer, or vet, whenever applicable.


Yes, our drivers can assist in getting your pet into a kennel.

For private transport, we only transport one client's pet(s) at a time. Your pet will either ride unaccompanied, or with other pet(s) in your household. For shared ride service, your pet(s) may ride with other animals, up to a maximum of 5 animals in total. Animals must be socialized and used to other animals for shared ride service.

What is your refund / credit policy?

We offer full refunds for any cancellations with more than 24 hours notice. No refunds are issued for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice. If the cancellation tied to rescheduling a future reservation, credit will be applied towards the future reservation.
